Terms of Use
These terms describe the rules for using Groomly as an online salon management system for grooming salons.
1. Service provider
Groomly is an online service available through groomly.org and separate Groomly addresses for salons. The service is provided by BALTO GROOM OOD, a company registered in Bulgaria. For questions about the service, billing, or personal data: contact@groomly.org.
2. What Groomly is
Groomly is a SaaS system for grooming salons. It helps manage schedules, client profiles, pets, owners, online appointment requests, visits, photos, notes, notifications, reports, team access, and integrations such as Google Calendar, Viber, and SMS.
3. Access, trial, and plans
Access is provided after a request, approval, and setup of a separate Groomly address for the salon. Free access, when provided, starts from activation. After the trial period, use may continue with an active paid plan. Plans, limits, included notifications, and pricing are shown on the website or in an individual offer.
4. Payments, promo codes, and credit
Payments are made by the agreed method. Annual access may be offered at a discount compared with monthly payment. Promo codes and credit may be applied only under the conditions shown in the system or agreed in writing. Some discounts may not be combined.
5. Salon responsibility
The salon is responsible for the accuracy of information it enters: salon identity and contacts, users, working hours, team, prices, services, client profiles, owner contacts, pet details, notes, photos, visits, online request settings, and notification settings.
The salon is responsible for having a lawful basis to process its clients' data and for informing them about the use of Groomly where required.
6. Accounts and security
Users must keep login details secure. Actions performed through a user account may be recorded in audit logs for security, accountability, and support. The salon administrator manages users, roles, active sessions, and access to system areas.
7. Online requests and appointments
The public booking page allows clients to request an appointment online. A request is not a confirmed appointment until the salon reviews and confirms it. While a request is pending, the chosen time may appear unavailable to reduce duplicate requests. The salon decides whether to confirm, change, reject, or add the request to the earlier-appointment list.
8. Notifications
Groomly may send Viber confirmations and reminders depending on the active plan and salon settings. If a Viber message is not successful, the system may show an SMS option when SMS is enabled and the sending conditions are met. The salon is responsible for the content, settings, and lawful use of messages to its clients.
9. Google Calendar
Google Calendar connection is optional. Groomly remains the main place for appointments. When enabled, Groomly appointments may sync to Google Calendar, while Google events may be shown in the Groomly schedule and transferred as Groomly appointments according to the settings. The connection can be disconnected from Groomly or from the Google account.
10. Acceptable use
- Do not attempt unauthorized access to the system, another salon, or other data.
- Do not use Groomly for illegal, misleading, abusive, or harmful activity.
- Do not enter data you are not allowed to process.
- Do not interfere with the security, stability, or normal operation of the service.
- Do not use notifications for unsolicited advertising messages or spam.
11. Availability, changes, and support
Groomly is maintained with care, but the service may change, be updated, or be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, third-party provider changes, or product development. Some features depend on the active plan, settings, and external services such as Google, Infobip/Viber, or SMS providers.
12. Termination
Access may be terminated when the paid period expires, in case of non-payment, breach of these terms, abuse, or a written request by the salon. Upon termination, Groomly may limit access to the system. Data is retained or deleted according to applicable retention periods, technical capabilities, agreements with the salon, and legal obligations.
13. Limitation of liability
Groomly is an organizational tool. The salon remains responsible for client service, decisions, data accuracy, prices, communication, and compliance with applicable rules. The provider is not responsible for interruptions, errors, or losses caused by misuse, incorrect data, lack of internet access, third-party provider issues, or circumstances outside reasonable control.
14. Intellectual property
Groomly, its design, code, text, structure, and brand are protected. The salon receives the right to use the system according to its active access, but does not acquire rights over the software itself.
15. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated when the service, legal requirements, or operating model change. The current version is published on this page.
